Das Wohnzimmer sieht nicht aus als hätte es ein moderner Designer der Fünfziger entworfen. Nur die leuchtend grüne Farbe weist darauf hin, dass es nicht aus den Dreißiger Jahren stammt.
The livingroom does not feature the fifties style at all. Except for the blazing green upholstery it is a pre-war design.

Selbstverständlich hat die Sammlerin das Set im Puppenkarton gelassen und so kann man sich die einzelnen Möbel nicht so gut ansehen. Auf dem obigen Foto jedoch sieht man das neuartige harte Schaumstoffmaterial zur Polsterung, das EMS zu dieser Zeit verwendete.

Ein Wohnzimmer im ähnlichen Stil - nur die Sessel sind gleich - finde ich nur auf diesem Katalogfoto von 1959, wo es einen krasser Außenseiter darstellt, denn zu diesem Zeitpunkt war das Design dieses Herstellers schon viel gewagter und hatte keine Ähnlichkeit mehr mit diesen wuchtigen Schränken und steifen Sitzgelegenheiten.
