Ein wunderschönes Wohnzimmer von Ende der Fünfziger vom DDR-Hersteller VEB Niedersaida. Sogar ein EMS-Teppich aus dieser Zeit ist vorhanden.
A wonderful livingroom made at the end of the fifties by the East-German nationally owned firm VEB Niedersaida (logo: EMS) - even with an EMS carpet of that time.
Auf dem Katalogfoto von 1959 sieht man ein ähnliches Set, der Teppich ist einfacher im Design, er hat nur eine angedeutete Umrandung. Rechts oben ist ein interessanter Blumenständer, den ich in der Sammlung Bruchsal aus allen Perspektiven fotografieren konnte.

Der Fernseher ist ein Extra, das nicht auf dem Katalogbild zu sehen ist, und der wahrscheinlich aus einem älteren Angebot des Herstellers stammt, denn spätere Katalogbilder zeigen ganz andere TVs.
The TV really belongs to the original set though because the collector bought the livingroom in this cardboard box. Catalogue photos after 1959 show different and simpler models for TVs.
Gleichwohl gehörte er zum Originalset dieses Wohnzimmers dazu.

Die Frisierkommode steht elegant geschwungen auf nur 3 Beinen. Das Bett wird von 3 dünnen Teppichläufern umrandet, die aus leicht beflocktem Papier gemacht sind.
The vanity's curved design on 3 legs and the contrast of light wood, white and a little bit red reveals a typical design of the fiftis.
Hier kenne ich das Verkaufsdatum aus der DDR-Presse, die 1957 ein Foto zeigte, als über die Leipziger Messe berichtet wurde. Auf diesem Foto sieht man eine schwarze Version.
