Die Eisenhütte in Blaenavon/Wales zeigt auf ihrem Gelände nicht nur viele historische Hochöfen, auch alte Häuser der Arbeiter können besichtigt werden und sind mit Möbeln und Zubehör aus verschiedenen Zeitabschnitten eingerichtet, die so lebensnah wirken, als ob die Bewohner nur mal eben aus dem Zimmer gegangen sind und zurückkommen, wenn wir nur laut genug nach ihnen rufen.
The Blaenavon Ironworks in Wales do not only show historical blast furnances on their site but a row of white houses which were built for the workers. They are furnished as if the inhabitants have only just left the room and will come back when when we call "Hello?!". There are interiors of the 19th century, of the 40s, 50s and 60s. You can explore the houses for yourself, go up the stairs or to the back rooms.
