Leider gibt es kein Buch über diese faszinierenden Puppenstubenpuppen, nur einen wunderschönen langen Artikel in Marcie Tubbs Enzyklopädie über Puppenhauspuppen in aller Welt.
Viele SammlerInnen sind sich nicht sicher, welche Caco-Puppen in welche Zeit gehören und in welches Puppenhaus passen. Dieser Beitrag soll eine kleine Hilfe sein.
There is no German book about these fascinating dolls house dolls - only a long article in English in Marcie Tubbs' book which helps to date your Caco doll.
But many collectors still wonder which doll belongs in which dolls house. So perhaps this post will help a little bit.

Anfang und Mitte der 1930er
Massekopf und flache Hände, auch flache schwarze Schuhe.
Weiche Wellenfrisur

Beginning and middle 1930s
Composition head and flat hands with flat black metal shoes.
Hairstyle: soft waves

Mitte bis Ende der 1930er Jahre
Neue Frisur mit mehr Locken, dieselben Hände, neue braune Schuhe.

Middle to end of the 1930s

New hairstyle with more curls, same hands, newly formed higher shoes in brown.

1940er bis 1951 (BRD)
1940er bis Ende der 1950er? (DDR)
Wieder eine neue Frisur mit noch mehr Locken oben auf dem Kopf, geöffnete Hände. Um den Körper ist ein plastikartiges hautfarbenes Band gewickelt.

40s to 1951 (West-Germany)

40s to the end of the 50s(?) (East-Germany)

A new hairstyle with many curls and waves on top of the head, newly formed metal hands which open a little, same shoes. The biggest change is the new wrapping around the body: a plastic material in long stripes.

Die Puppen werden wieder mit einem weichen hautfarbenem Baumwollband umwickelt.
Alle Puppen bekommen neu modellierte Köpfe, Hände und Schuhe.

Return to the soft cotton wrapping, new head forms, new hairstyle of the ladies, new forms of the metal hands and shoes.

Diese Puppe habe ich noch nie in Farbe gesehen. Es sieht aus als trage sie ein wunderschönes buntes Kleid.

1961 - 1962? Frauen mit dunkler Perücke und schönen Kleidern

The women had shoes with heels since about the end of the 50s.

Seit 1964 waren die Köpfe und die Hände aus Plastik.
Wahrscheinlich gab es nur eine kurze Zeit vor dieser Umstellung Puppen mit Massekopf UND Plastikhänden. Die Frauen hatten außerdem ein neues Kopfmodell (siehe "1962?" oben).

Since 1964 the heads and the hands were made of plastic.
Probably for a short time before that turning point we find dolls with composition heads AND plastic hands. The women had also another head model (see "1962?" above).
